I think in another thread you said it had 340000kms or so and that is what most buyers will see first.

I reckon put it back to stock, sell your good bits and be happy with maybe 3-4k.

An AU1 wagon? $2500 to $3000 at best, I'd say.

They're not worth much at all now are they?

I guess I'll simply have to keep working on mine and eventually get a gearbox reco (converter making a bit of a vibe - been doing so for years), fresher engine in another 100K or so (I'd love a HP unit), get the suspension height sorted and perhaps go for the 3.45 ratio.

As long as the paintwork stays okay and it has no major dings, I'll probably get around to the above list.

Well, next visit to Canberra we'll start on the suspension ay! LOL!

Unfortunatley Stav I'd agree with 2-3k. You would be much better off returning it to stock as I would suggest that a wagon with those mods will be fairly hard to sell.

Yeah but how much pain will it be turning to stock? Labour, finding parts if you didnt keep them. Sound like a PIA for trying to get a grand or so more if yoru lucky.

Id be advertising it specialty mags/sites first. Someone might understand the mods done and want to pick up a bargain.

Your probably better off selling it to a family member perhaps..or trading it in, you were looking at FG's yeah?

If you dont have to part it out straight away to afford the FG then give it a complete detail and advertise it leaning towards P-platers mate.. especially those who surf ?

Your car is unique.. keep it that way don't make the same mistake i did ....

If you put it up on here, I think you could get 4k. Obviously people will be able to look at the history of the car and the mods done, which will help your cause in getting "top dollar" for it..

Otherwise, 3k to a P plater..

Have a good look around the car and work out whether it is in good enough condition to make ok money.
If it is, I would still remove all the go fast bits and sell it as a stocker.

I'm not sure what a stocker is worth, but perhaps 2k or so.

You'd probably get 1k for all the go fast bits and everyone wins.

You need to look at how big the market is for a hotty wagon. Not big I would think.

I agree guys. Im still driving this week and its great fun to drive. The fg xr6t which hopefully happens soon is nice to drive but the wagon is just as good but different to drive.
I sold the drivers central locking lock today so theres 60 dollars lol. The cancellation of rego and greenslip should fetch around 700.
