Mine would have to be the F6 310 high-performance 4.0-litre turbo-charged DOHC 24 value in-line 6
Maximum power (DIN) 310kW @ 5500rpm Maximum torque (DIN) 565Nm @ 1950-5200rpm FPV single-outlet high-flow exhaust system. They are powerful and look Superb!

Mine is the BA GT. Ever since I seen one I loved it. Never thought I would get one, but couple years ago had a chance to get one. It is now my daily and has been since I owned it.

The ZG Fairlane, for mostly nostalgic reasons, but they do what they were designed to do exceptionally well, and that is cruising. I think externally the ZH is a bit more striking and has the traditional land yacht looks which I like, but I prefer the XA-XB style cockpit dash in the ZG. I'd be happy with either.
I don't know if this belonged to an AFF member, but it is a sweet looking example.

My number one is an XY GT, nothing else can ever compare to an xy, next would be an XE ESP, then followed by an XA coupe

All of them,i just can not boil it down to just a few even, the only one that i would push out of the nest just on looks alone is the 90's taurus,i mean what were the designers on at the outside design section ,and it was the biggest seller in America at one stage?.but hey each to their own i suppose.

Looks wise I'd go bf cobra, closely followed by ba xr8, el2 xr8 or t3 t series.
Performance id go bf typhoon, f6 310 or fg boss 335. Fords have some great cars, can't wait for the conversations and threads 15 years in the future. |

I would have to say XB/XC Coupe.
I do have a soft spot for Escort Panelvans and TC Cortina's too. It really is too hard to choose! Ford have made many great cars over the years. Cheers Col

I love the BA/F FPV range. I'm not old enough to remember or have any interest in the old classics, so i'll go with what I know.

rs1600 escort mkII tarmac spec with cosworth BDG, rothmans colour scheme mustang, highland green, big block (yes, Bullit spec) XW GTHO, white with black stripes (just because I had a ride in one when 10 and it had a big sunroof and was the best car in the world) Sierra Cosworth RS500, black, BBS GT40, gulf blue, 427 There's a shed full of blue oval legends that would make me a happy man.

Great Question.
Looks - Def a T3 in that Blue print colour without a doubt. Perform - Now if we are talking standard (Im assuming so) Id have to go GT335 hands down. Providing we are keeping things standard here.

The EF XR6 - in its day, it was the fastest 6 Cylinder Australian car since the E49. It is also the most beautiful Falcon of its day. It isn't fast compared to anything today, but on the open road, it still shines.
I'll be keeping mine for a bloody long time. Edit: That being said, I still have a soft spot for the EBII S-XR8.

This...
Old school wise, I like all the X series GT's, and the later ESP's, V8's versions only. Modern cars, Tickford T3's and AU 2/3 XR8's, nothing else. As long as its a V8, nothing else counts in my book.

like all the GT`S pretty much, always loved the XYGT, it`s old school tuff, red with black stripes (numero uno), but the current model GT 335 would be my next pic, performance /driveability it`s the best GT,
but if i was`nt a V8 bloke it would be neck and neck with an F6/F6E. |

God there is way to many....although in the future I will be planning to own the following:
F6 310 as a daily 2011 Mustang BOSS302 kept LHD for a track car (after the Alfa is sorted and wait a few years until they come down in price) A XA Falcon of some type for family cruising F6 should happen pretty soon actually, the Barina is on the way out and we need more space ;) They are the realistic cars....my dream car is a Shelby Daytona Cobra, id be happy with a kit version. Something like this... http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...=shelby|CarAll Id even settle for a EFI, although its a crying shame not to have a carby 289 in there but the hippies wont allow it. Although that one is obviously very road spec, god its even an auto!

I like many models, from TD cortina's to XD falcons, our daily cars have been au, ba, fg all Xr models and we have fond memories of them all, for as long as I can remember the 67 Xr has been my favorite, and 5 months ago I finally got myself a 67 Xr fairmont.
Ultimately my favorite car and now I'm lucky enough to own one. |
