2012 Permanent Firefighter Recruitment Campaign

FRNSW will commence the 2012 Permanent Firefighter Recruitment Campaign on Wednesday 30 November. Using the slogan Expect the Unexpected, advertising will span 2 weeks until Wednesday 14 December, and we hope to attract quality men and women able to 'fire on all cylinders'.

Applicants will be required to complete an online application and undergo a series of tests based on the capabilities and values of Fire & Rescue NSW. This includes good cognitive ability, and high levels of work safety, work reliability and emotional intelligence.

Please mention our campaign to people you think may be interested. If you are a retained firefighter you are also most welcome to apply. Importantly we are looking for people who are physically fit and regularly active.

We will also be conducting 2 information sessions as follows:
Thursday 1 December, 6.30 to 8.30 pm, Wesley Centre, 220 Pitt St Sydney
Thursday 8 December, 6.30 to 8.30 pm, Parramatta RSL Club, Cnr Macquarie and O'Connell Sts
