Default Help with HVAC control lights

Guys the backing lights have gone out where the HVAC controls are on my LR Focus. Does anyone know if they are wedge bulbs or led lights. Easy to replace or a job for an auto elec

Thanks in advance

They are small wedge bulbs.

Best to pull one out and take it to repco or similar. Normally the bulb and holder is 1 unit.

If you haven't pulled the dash apart before then probably leave it to someone else. Its pretty easy tho

I haven't pulled the dash apart before and I wouldn't really know where to start. I don't want to take out the instrument cluster as well

The instrument cluster is easy. Pull the top of the steering column off and 6 or so screws and its out.

The radio you need to use the keys or on the LR some neatly bended coat hanger wire.

After that you should be able to see how the dash facia pulls off.

Aam, just remove the stereo ans you'll see the screws inside the facia panel to remove the silver trim, then have access to the HVAC.
