Are we talking about cars built in australia? or do imports count?, because if they do, the 1975 electras are about as big as they got

It's been a while since I used the Australian Standard for carparks, but the carpark spaces where based on the overall dimensions of an XD Falcon Station Wagon....I remember it was over 5m long...can't remember exactly...code may have changed since.

Those would be pre 1990 not post. Post means after. But I was also thinking those as well.

What about the equivelent Statesman/Caprice? They definitely had long boots.

But to answer the question I would say the Maybach too.

And I would also guess at the WH Statesman for the longest Australian car post 1990 but stick with the Maybach for overall.

As far as Australian built cars go, it would have to be the WH statesman, and all up definetley the Maybach 62, which coincidentally is also the ugliest car going around.

I get the WH at 5237mm, Crewman at 5306mm, P6 LTD at 5364mm

As for yank cars & Eruos, there are MUCH longer available (6door lincolns & Merc M100)

Off the top of my head, LWB Commodores and Falcons (wagons, Fairlane, Statos) are longer than Land Cruiser and Patrol... Puts the greenies idealistic 'they (SUVs) take up too much room' arguement to rest. They usually have a habbit of preventing facts getting in the way of their stories tho so no suprises there.
