Default How much have you spent on your ORSM car?

I was bored at work the other day, and added up how much I spent on Topgia since I got her, 13 months ago.

- $8900 - Car
- $1950 - VSI conversion (after the $2000 rebate)
Than the mod bug started bitting
- $2200 - Wheels & Tyres ( after trading in/selling 4 different sets of wheels & tyres, 16", 19", 18" and curent 17")
- $1600 - Suspension (after 2 different spring/shock combos)
- $800 - Brakes
- $1700 - Engine
- $1150 - Audio/Visual
- $500 - Interior
- $1500 - Exterior/Cosmetic
- $500 - Misc
- $350 - Maintenance (she's been pretty reliable, only top radiator hose and trans speed sensor)

Almost $12K in mods + car = $21K

The car is insured for $12K. I didn't realize I spent so much, gotta fix that and increase agreed value a bit.

Would I do it again? The answer is YES! There is no price for satisfaction!

So, how much have you spent on your ORSM car and would you do it again?

-$free = car
-$350 = window tint
-$2000 = LPG (no grant)
-$1100 = Stereo (equpiment)
-$300 = Stereo (Boot setup)
-$200 = steering wheel setup
-$2125 = exhaust, CAI, K&N pannel filter, plugs and leads
-$1400 = Wheels
-$600 = Lowering
-$600 = Bonnet and front bar spray
-$400 = Plates

Jeez now that i look at it i realise why my parents have said to stop spending money on the car. hahahah. oh well i dont think they will be happy when i tell them its gonna cost me more money to change the engine lmao.

its funny when you add it all up. when i tell people my mods i usually just say wheels lowered and an exhaust. its not till times like this you realise how much you have actually spent.

Tao wins.

I've probably spend around $50,000 all up including mods and car.

Could easily think of another $50,000 to spend on the car right now.

Well had the car almost 2 years in September so...

very luckily got car from dad cost = bday gift, best gift ever.

Rego x2 = $1100
Insurance x 2 = $2200
Repairs/services = $1000ish inc. new clutch, some really good pads not sure of name..., umm new muffler once lol.
Tyres = $650 ER30 BStones
Respray front splitter = $450
Lights and other goodies = $200ish
Plates = $500

Around $7000 plus 20,000km worth of fuel... around 40 tanks... average 95 per tank, so $3800
holy crap

Saying that thou its been worth every dollar in the past 2 years, hopefully many more years to come .
