Default Timing LV Ford Focus

Does anyone know how to adjust the timing on LV Focus, mine is pinging on acceleration

did not think you could do much as its computer adjusted. sure its not the anti knock sensor giving up or poor fuel?

Using 91 fuel? 95 or 98 will fix it, but obviously cost more to fill up.

That's it. As per the manual, engine noise will increase, and performance will decrease using 91 fuel. That's one way of describing pinging.
