whats the best way to re-do a parcel shelf?
any old threades, for an e-series? going in is 2 x 6" and an 8" sub.

all depends on what you wish to do with it... pull the carpet out, fit ya sub, cut the hole out of the carpet/board and recover it with what ever ya want (Im asuming that being EF XR it has the factory 8" hole on the Shelf...

i want a neat look, flat, no carpet - maybe something else like suade. should i cut a 5mm maiconite board and lay it down? theres so much dynamat on the metal shelving though

just pull out the old carpet and stencil in some new stuff, you can put a board in, if you like, helps to raise the speakers etc, usually fit in somewhat better, esp if you have a gas tank.

Whats the best way to fix vibration probs in parcel shelfs? Mine's a bastard when the stereo is up loud.....Even my bootlid vibrates.

use dynamat from any car stereo store and or put in some more carpet underlay
