Quick question for you guys. I'm in need of a new exhaust for my series 2 au fairmont ghia. I'm chasing up a low restriction system but do not want any drone. I've priced up a berklee "pex" sport exhaust, part numbers:
BS9755 and BS9756. It has a front hotdog, centre muffler and rear muffler. Has anyone had one of these systems put on their au and if so does it drone? Does it have a nice audible but "discreet" throb at idle? Or if you have another type of sports system on your 6cyl IRS equipped AU, and it doesn't drone can you let me know what you've got. Cheers |

I've got a custom 2.5" system with a lukey race muffler and a 12"? Res on I and it's beefy but quiet. Personally I usually don't drive with the res on very much.
