There should be a black Twin Turbo GTP running tonight, probably not the best air temp, but who ever goes, can they post the times

Not sure if it is the right car, just getting second hand info from someone there.

12.8 at 113mph, not bad for the 1st run

Not bad for his 1st run Simon

I think hes on 19s too.

Just wanted to get out and give it a run and refine it at a later date.

Pretty poor effort for a car like that with twin turbo's , Considering Ive run a 12.9 with no diff gears and no convertor, on street tyres.

As I've heard the kits not that cheap either, considering what I've spent and what he has spend , Not value for money thats for sure.

But then again I could be wrong. The car might be quicker then what we think.

I gotta agree with DABOSS, that can't be right. A certain F6 runs 13's, so somethings up. It was fairly humid out there (while i was there), but it seemed to crispen up a bit, so who knows. Plus there could be drama's, who knows.
I only saw one GTP there (yes it was black) but i just thought it was a stock-ish one

Rod's TT Pursuit ran 130 mph with stock convertor driving off the line, i would think the mph is low, for this GTP.

Give it some time, 1st time out, there is much to learn on a new setup as the night went on he got quicker and quicker.
Finished with a 12.1@120 Mph, he was on M/T drag radials and it appeared to be in full street trim.
Well done CaptianMarv.
the runs i seen were
12.8 113mph
12.3 118mph
12.1 120mph
Edit: Also add it was a very warm night.

12.1 sound a little better then 12.8. So 11's should be on the cards. I'll be keeping an eye on this, sounds like a beast!

Fair effort that, I would assume that he is only running low boost at the moment while they iron out the bugs.

Having read some of the comments its obvoius those posters have no idea first time at track what do they expect, this car will run a low 11 easy with a high 120mph in basic street trim. Mine eventually run 10 sec passes but the first time out we only managed 12,2s @118 its all to do with learning how the car reacts and setup.

What do they imply a twin turbo boss v8 isnt making power what crap

We are talking street cars & drag racing, hardly rocket science.....The setup talk always has me scratching my head, whilst people are talking about road cars.

hang on thats a bit harsh, People are allowed there view and it isnt always going to be roses for everyone, Certainly a first time effort will always yield slower times and mph then a car thats done 30 runs, I wasnt saying it was a ИИИИ effort, I was just really excited about this thing, ROd ran 11's @ over 130 mph BUT as a mate of mine told me lastnight that knows this lucky fellow who owns this car.. it was his first time drag racing and the fact that he can go from 113 mph to 120 shows it wasnt the car more the driver. Give Geea a steer or Adam... after all its only a bloody automatic :monkes:

:

Your right mate, it was a good effort, In the end, I was just H A N G I N G out for this thing to run, if rod can run 11's @ 130 with the unichip its a certainty that this car will eclipse that :

Its hard to drive a new car well after only 3 runs.

I was running 13.0's and 12.7's to begin with in my AU, the last run I did for the day was an 11.8 at 120mph. It took 8 or so runs to get there and there was more left in it but racing stopped due to rain.

This car should be a very quick car with out any doubts, but I would have expected a bit better staright away. I do not mean to take any credit away from any of those involved, but we as outsiders may not be aware of any problems that they may have been experiencing or are even be prepared to admit to.

Chirs has run 11.2 ( ? ) @ 122 with 4 psi on an unopened motor, but his car has had several ( ) passes down the 1/4

My unopened Pursuit ran 12.749 on it's very first run down the 1/4, it has now done 18 passes in 2 weeks and they have all been in the 12's (12.508 best - 12.930 worse) so i would have thought this car would have done a little better.

I can't wait to see what this car will do in future weeks, it can only be better.

Well done to all of those involved.
