Default Tyre pressure

If its not raining this wednesday I am off to WSID.

I will be running 235/60/14 street tyres. Would I benefit from lowering my tyre pressure? If so what pressure would be the best?

i run 225/50 /16's on my au i6.i let my tyre pressure down to 22 psi and launch it @ 3800rpm and it snaps away from the line no wheelspin at all.its 60ty footers range from 1.9's /2.0's .
when i first went out to the drags i used to run the same tyres at 36psi and couldn't get it off the line without bagging it up.dropping tyre pressures definatley helps launching a car off the line heaps.
