was walking down Glenferrie road, Hawthorm (Near Glenferrie station). and who do you think stops and talks to me........CHOPPER REED! Yep thats it, he was doing some survey thingy.
It was amazing just to see the reaction from the people around. At first i thought i was dreamin, but when i was sitting down eating Macca's a uni student ran in and upto his mates saying "i just saw Chopper Reed!" Just wondering which celebrities otehr people have bumped into?

I had to ask Lou Grant and another 2 members of Foreigner to take their smokes and glasses of beer out of the Sydney Entertainment Centre during a Joe er concert one night.
Didnt know who they were till we got them out the door, They spewed.... called their management, called our management and generally carried on like spoilt brats.. Boss came up to me after the show, Did you have trouble with 3 dudes tonight? Yeah, thats right. Do you know who they were? I do now. Good, it doesnt matter who they were, you did the right thing!!! Richard Wilkins was another, turned up one night with 7-8 hangers on and carried on like real prima donna when I wouldnt let him and his friends in without any tickets!!!

I met Chopper when I was in year 11. I ran into him at Westfield Doncaster and he was with his wife. I spoke to him for about 15 mins, and all I can say is hes a friendly bloke, whose happy to have a chat, I was not intimidated by his demeanour whatsoever, he didn't seem arrogant or stand-offish at all, just witty, friendly, and approachable. He signed my chopper DVD too.
"Dear Daniel - Never Plead Guilty 2002' Mark Brandon Read "Chopper" lol Other Poeple I've met are: Lisa McCune - She filmed Forensic Investigators at the Pub I worked at, she was really nice Peter Brock - Came twice to the pub I worked at - I didn't find him all that friendly The Cloke family - The boys and the rest of the family came to the Pub as well. Peter Rowsthorne - Same deal, Came to the pub Shane Crawford - Came to the portsea Pub when I was there loll Sam Newman - Was doing street Talk when I was in St Kilda Andy Van - Australian DJ who was Half of "Madison Avenue", great bloke. Damian Walshe Howling - Used to be on Blue Heelers. He was really friendly too, and happy to chat. John Wood - lol Yeah, he was ok. |

Kylie Minouge and Jason Donovan in about 1987 when they were actually a couple..
Nicky Buckley....did someone say MILF.....humna humna Fernando Alonso - pre world championship And aaaaa not sure if I want to admit this one.......Hanson.....not Pauline, the band. Remember 'mmmmmm bop' ? Anyway they were on a plan from Sydney to Melbourne a few years back. Three kids wearing sunglasses, on a plane, at night. I didn't know who they were till we got off the flight and there was a hoard of sceaming 14 year olds with Hnason sigs at the gate... Its taken a lot of therapy to be able to admit that last one in public..... |
