AU Head Unit

Hey Guys,

I have a SERIII AU XR and the stereo was giving dramas. CD not playing. The unit was replaced under warranty, so may be as new as 1 or 2 years max. I purchased another unit from AFF site, and now it doesn't play CD's either. Also, the replacement doesn't wind the aeriel up and down.

If I sent my old unit down, could you likely return it to its CD spinning best, and could the newer one be void of the aerial functionality, hence repair and replace would also fix this, or need I look at other faults?

Also I am void of credit card, can I Direct Credit payment, Where do I send unit, etc, etc, etc??

mike pls send it for repair. you can direct deposit as well no problem. Send it to ASL, 13 Commercial Dve, Lynbrook vic 3975

Okay, so I lost track of this.

Can I still send it to the above address? What if I am not 100% on the security Number?? (I am pretty sure what it is, but this unit was probably only installed for about 12 months, having been replaced by Ford under wtty???!???)

Well, After 17 years of no music, Fadi called and woke me from a Night Shift last night, half a day at golf, 14 beer and mudcrab lunch, after 1 hour sleep.

I am waiting for a DVD player from AWA for repairs.

Phone call (to a very tired, half cut crab eater) goes.

Hi, This is blah blah blah from ASL. Your CD Player is not repairable, so all we can offer is a replacement, for $***.

I am thinking, Bloody AWA Prigs, can't repair under wtty, now trying to stiff me for a change over for half what I paid!

Now if only AWA would fix my freaken DVD Player!
