going back for more. WSID on the 11th

well im heading back for a second dose of the drags. was slightly annoyed with the first time, however now have looked back and am looking at it as a learning experience in the hope to pull a really good time... maybe even an 11.99 but think i would be over the moon with anything under 12.3ish will be possilbe


taken alot of tips from members and i think a big problem i had was the cars set up which ive got a fair bit of a better plan. booked myself in at a motel only 5kms from WSID and plan to get there about midday get the car all set up and let it cool down and then make sure i get to the drags nice and early to spread my runs out a bit.

anyone else going to be there?

I will be there this Saturday for Jambo, if you got time head up should be plenty of great cars and will give you a chance to catch up with drivers and teams and get some advice also you get to check out what everone is using etc.

If you want to go over setup and test your setup let me know I can meet you at Weston Creek.

I'm planning being there next Wednesday. Gunna spend the day removing my seats and anything else heavy from the interior.

Remove the muffler, Thermo fan (before run), Remove the handbrake assemble, bonnet and boot struts lol. lightweight undies hahaha...

got a few niggly things to sort out away from the car and the toys aren't fully ready to be unleashed on the track yet plus the BOM are using that swear word again that starts with "R"

Yeah i noticed that. Ive already booked a hotel room so worst case me and my mates will come up and get on the grog. Any excuse for a cruise

We drove down and my brother entered his stock NA FG XR6 (5 speed auto). Best he managed was a 14.440 @156kmh.

Good to see so many fords out.
