I have Castrol SL Heavy and Timken red.
The Timken grease seems "thinner". Which one is recommended? |

For single row caged ball bearings, not deep groove, not special purpose?
If they both meet spec for heat range and lubricity, IMO whichever has the best resistance to washout. |

If both greases are applicable to your use then it won't matter, personal choice.
