Question Fg Gtho , Will It See The Light Of Day?

Considering next year will be the 40th anniversery of the gtho, and the fact we finally seem to be getting a decent v8, will the fg gtho finally be a reality or just another dream. Magazine reports seem to think this will be a reality. My only argument against this is the gtho is a sacred thing and should maybe be left where it is, as the old beast we know of. I do like the idea of it though and wonder just how many they would make if it was to become a reality. Your thoughts?

No no no, it's a V10 twin turbo. Did I say that out loud?
Jeez OP doesn't visit the pub much. This year we've probably had more
GTHO threads than actual news threads.
Holiday needed perhaps? Lol

No sorry , I dont get on here everyday like some people , I actually have a life outside of this forum. did a search on fg gtho and no matches. If its been done before I am sure one of our modertors will shut it down soon enough and you can all get on with your life (I mean fordforums). Some people spend way, way way to much time on here, as gordan ramsay would say "F M". Or as someone mentioned earlier " OH DEAR". I could go on ,and on and on but could not be bothered .

********** hell, we've only had about 16 of these threads asking the same question.

I am sick to death of these threads...it's the same crap. People say, 'I'd love to see the GT-HO return'...yeah, that's great, but who is going to buy one?

Refer to every bloody thread and all we're doing is walking the same tracks. The footprints we're leaving is destroying the landscape.

Why do you want it back anyway?

The reason there are no search results for FG GTHO is because they are all in thread heaven.
There really has been that many though, it's hard to fathom that you have not seen at least one?

If your sick of it why open the thread?

Would i buy one? Yes if its a good car with everything i want absolutely im not going to get hung up on the whole its not a real gtho thing its about the car i care not for the model designation.

Why do you want it back? who wouldnt want a Ford that leads the opposition in every way power, handling, looks why wouldnt you want it back who cares what its called.

I thought I had seen one, but when searched, nothing found. I thought they only get closed, not deleted, so assumed if something was there is should have come up. It seems to be amusing many of you so not a total loss I guess.

Anything to pass a boring work day haha
your search might have needed rewording to come up with closed threads, not having a go at you, but other threads might have been named something different

They should leave it alone.

A Phase 3 was one of the fastest cars in the world in 1971 and was more than a match for a lot of thoroughbred Italian sports cars.

Unless the new GTHO can match it with the current supercars for straightline speed they should just leave it alone
