They're Seatcovers. The owner loves his flames!

Hmm, interesting the colour is changed. In my opinion 30k is a bit much considering it needs a full respray to take it back to original colour. Originality is where the money is in these cars.

Darran, do you know the owner? It sure sounds like you do! Your first post you make it sound like you just found the car for sale, then you go on to sound like you actually know him.

Yes. Yes I do!
I would buy it if I had the cash. As I have seen how much work he has put in!

I like it, not bad $ for a car that will only increase in value over time.

He has a huge set. Foot and a half across to sit on the parcel shelf. Can't see out the mirror when they are there!

Yeah. Sure. Did you see the car restored? No, I think not.
It is not fake. 100% Original. Matching Numbers all round.
Maybe you should think before you speak in future. :MrT_anim:

Here is the replacement for the GT.

Purchased from Melbourne. The owner drove it all the way back to Katherine NT, didn't miss a beat!
Cheers

Darran do you know what he paid for the 62 Tbird? I have looked at a couple of these in the past, imo the best Tbird ever released. It looks like an oringinal car

It was either $18k or $22k.
Its Original, and in Top Nick. Older owner. Daily driver.
Only problem he had on the trip home was a flat tyre, courtesy of a valve problem.
I love the wire spoke wheels!
Don't get me wrong, he loved the XB to death, but he needed a change, and had his heart set on the T-Bird! He flew to Melbourne with a One Way ticket! Ended up driving it home from there! He did have a look at a few in Adelaide on the way thru, but by far this one was the best... Value and Condition. :Up_to_som
