A fair balanced assessment of the AU Falcon from the Shannon's club.

It was a good show, I still like the Tickford models!
Craig Lowndes told me the AU race car was the best car he has ever driven, they can't be that bad..

Thanks for the nice link Bill! ^^ John Bowe thought highly of the AU supercar too from what I've read on the internet, I'm not 100% sure but didn't Lowndes assist with the racing AU's early R&D? In the looks department the AU supercar was certainly a looker Imo!
cheer's, Maka

Not too sure about that - turncoat, meh - definately over that, but funny thing happened whilst standing in a Holden line waiting to get my green eyed monster block mounted poster signed, Lowndes also made mention that the AU was his favourite car.

Marcos Ambrose is on record saying that he has never had a race car hamper his abilities as bad as the AU Falcon.
Anyway, good viewing and that AU XR8 was absolutely magnificent. The owner of that car shares my take on the AU, understands that it is ugly but that is why its beautiful. (If that makes sense ) A design that you either absolutely despise and hate with a passion or A design that you love because it set trends, challenged the viewer, a design that has endured better than cars from the same era.
