i used to love the AU/VU ute ads then they went real soft after about 2002/3
the AU 1 tonne ad filling the tray up with VB, of the flooded it mate ad

the VU SS thunder ad was alright too

Re nanny state .. remember that Holden ad from a couple of years ago when the Dad and kid were driving along an he says "Bloody caravaners " ..

The the same ad appeared later on with just "Caravaners" ....

What a terrible tragedy to use a bit of genuine Aussie idiom ..Heaven forbid yet it's alright to blight our TV's with endless marriage , dating , stupid cooking and drama king and queen home reno garbage for months on end ..

It's only car manufacturers who have to apply to the guidelines. Supercheap don't have those restrictions.

I figured as much. Advertising oil with unregistered race cars is fine.

Maybe supercheap could use an unregistered Raptor on a dirt track to advertise ‘oil’. Of course paid for by Ford.
