Honeslty... i still havnt stopped smiling.
Had the car since June. Have driven other cars and they seem lacking something. Also on long trips I used to find myself weary and tired all the time. I can drive this thing for hours on end and still be alert and having a ball. Its weird but whatever they did putting it together... it works. As for getting one.. be prepared for a very very long wait. Dont believe the 3 months wait the dealers are saying at the moment. Checkout http://www.fordxr5turbo.com for lots of tips and pointers and advice on the XR5's. |

I think they are a nice car and very nice for the price but still front wheel drive i think (if i were lucky to get one) get an R32 golf. I know they are a fair bit more expensive and out of the XR5 class but they are so sexy. I think i just have a thing for german cars ie Audi and VW

Yeah the FWD sucks. Well it doesnt suck but its hard to get the power down.
If i had the moola I'd buy the R32 golf in a second as well. Dead set sexual. 6cyl AWD greatness. Thing i love about the XR5 though is hardly anyones got them... people know what they are as well so its a head turner convo starter. The R32 on the other hand (not talking about how hard they are to get as I have no idea - totally diff price bracket) are a bit of a sleeper |

Pretty cool video, I loved the comment about the Stig not driving with his rear fog lamp on.
