Do you have the FG set up on there ? Do you just want the caliper to sit in the same position as the factory set up?

What makes the FG bracket different? The reason i ask is when i bought the brembo set up i was told they fit BA falcons. It was only when i compared them to a BA GTP that i noticed they were in a slightly different position. Does that make them FG brackets? Thanks in advance. Tony

The FG brakes are mounted at the rear of the wheel where as the BA BF models were mounted at the front of the wheel. This makes the FG set up when fitted to the earlier models just slightly sitting in a different position but has no effect on braking performance.

Hi Matt, So are you saying we BA-BF fellas CAN fit FG brembos to our cars?
Will the brake hoses be OK?

Cheers

The hoses are different and technically the brakes will fit up but only after you do a few mods to them.

We can't buy the actual brackets seperate for the calipers sorry as they come attatched when we buy the calipers but sometimes we do have customers who like us to try and sell them for them only when we upgrade the brakes for them though . The factory 4 piston brembo calipers with the BF brackets and rubber hoses along with std pads are $1880 a pair thanks.

You can fit the FG calipers and brackets to a BF2 if you like but for them to be as best possible set up as you can get you must swap over the crossover pipe and bleeder nipples and possibly swap them from left to right so the rotor passes the small piston first when rotating as the FG set up is designed to sit at the rear of the wheel instead of the front of the wheel like the BF.
