Default AU ute sportsbar removal ..

I'm removing the sportsbar off my ute .. are they hard to do? any easy tips?

And it's for sale with the tarp if anyones interested or i'll put it on ebay.

Two ways you can do it, one is to jack the car up in the middle so the gap between tub and cab opens up allowing you to get a spanner onto the bolt to undo it, or you can do what I did and just lop the top off the bolts from inside the tub using a grinder and being very careful.

Bugger, this sounds like a mission ... I think the grinder may be coming out.

i must have been one of the lucky ones, the nuts under the tub didn't spin, so i just wound the bolts out and done...

I tried that first but the gods obviously wanted me to grind them off ... missing 2 bolts which have not fallen to the ground and can't see them .. not happy Jan
