Default Should ford do a 'Lightning' ute?

Seeing that Holden has brought back the 'Thunder' ute, should ford do a Lightning version? (you know, lightning always comes before thunder).

The utes need a kick along, a Lightning would be good as well as a Tradesman pack on the base utes. But really, the elephant in the room is the lack of diesel option.

Yeah I think a Lightning ute is a good idea. We can have our own 'na na na na na' ute....

IMO they need to start selling what they have before selling sticker packs.

I guess they need to get them moving somehow.

I would have thought that it's usually an end-of-model sell through thing really. Is it too early to try this?

Take a regular run of the mill falcon ute. Shove a 335 Miami in it, give it a bench seat, rubber floor mats, column shift and 14" rims.
Call it the real mans ute!!
None if this bovine crap leather interiors, harp tops, spoilers etc.
