About 3 weeks ago I got 4 new 17" rims with tyres fitted sent from Bob Jane, Blakehurst in Sydney to Victoria Point in Brisbane by TNT overnight express ... cost $150

Alan Lancaster at Bob Jane, Blakehurst arranged everything, top bloke, really helpful, excellent service!

Bear in mind one of the rims did suffer some "slight damage", scratches etc, even though they had fairly thick cardboard over the face of the wheels, Truckies of course don't give a rats about being careful with anything!

In hindsight I wouldn't have the tyres fitted to the rims before being freighted again

I would have the wheels sent in their original boxes to protect them and the tyres sent with them not fitted.

Yea, sounded like it to me too although I really had no idea what I was up for to get them up here.

I got the impression the bloke at Bob Jane must pass a fair bit of business through TNT or something.

I wasn't complaining ... got a good deal on the wheels and tyres too, 4 new 17" ROH Strada's with 4 new 205/40R17 Maxxis MAV-1 tyres fitted, balanced with chrome wheel nuts .. $1100 + $150 freight = :hihi:
