hey guys, just wondering if it normal for the clutch fan to be a bit noisy on humid days like today. even though the temp guage is fine (about o in normal) and the car is warmed up.

My clutch fan is noisy 24/7....if it's annoying you, you could convert to thermos...

Yeah im in the process of changing to thermos do it scotty clutch fans are s@#t!

yeah i was thinking of it, but what ive heard in the threads about overheating and what not, im a bit hesitant

some running hot, fans not coming on early enough, coming on too late. but they do seem alot better than the clutch fan, and look nicer aswell

Yeah, do it Scotty! (I'm such a hypocrite, if you heard me revving the car on the cruise, you would have heard a nice combination of clutch fan noise and fan belt squeal!)

Well, at the moment I'm not because I'm pretty broke. If I start getting some work again, then I might eventually fit thermos. It would be good to hear the engine over the noise of the fan!
I'd probably try the wreckers first, but I'd ask some of the blokes who have done this conversion first.

Yeah, I only have a month till I'm back to uni, so when that starts, it's going to drain all my remaining funds. Just hope I get some more work in before then
