Default buying an XR8

Hey guys how are we tonight? I am looking at upgrading the XE for a AUIII XR8. It has 54k on the clock and is fully optioned right down to the leather trim.
Can any1 tell me of any known faults and if the asking price of 22k sounds right?
Thanks guys

Depending on the whole condition of the car ( I have seen cars with 50k on the clock, look and drive worse than cars with 100k). I would offer $19,500. IMO that's a fair buy! You might be surprised as big engined vehicles have come down in price. If the seller does'nt know this, then tell him to keep it!

I bought a AUII XR8 220 in Oct last year and it had only 56,000 on it and I haven't had a problem yet. It now has 73,000.

The only consistant fault would be the rear strut plates the rest is sheer pleasure...
That S1 supercharged is taking offers around $15k now...
S3's in great shape from $18 imo....
