I've been looking at clear indicators on different cars lately, to find something similiar looking to the original eb/d ones on my car.
Came across these mercedes ones on ebay, what do you think? would they go on ok, and look ok? mercedes clear indicators also noticed the new patrol have ones very similiar to the new statesman ones i see someone else has fitted.... vx ones look ok too... not the oval vt style ones, but the vx ones, they have a squarish shape about them. So has anyone else used anything besides the au ones?

One way to find out about the mercedes ones: Obtain some measurements. They look pretty good though!
I'm the one with the Stato repeaters, and I did a bit of chopping to my original EB globe holders to get them to fit into the WK lenses. Not sure about the VX shape (I thought they were still oval?), but VY-VZ are considerably shorter in length than EA-ED ones. Also, they're slightly trapezoidal, not rectangular. Cheers -Dave- |

My VX has the oval ones only differance with vt ones is they were orange on some series 1 models, i think you mean the vy/vz ones? the sort of squarish looking ones

Why bother with AU / BA, these will be out soon - if there is enough interest, I had a set cast for me but haven't had a chance to fit them yet. I'll let everyone know when the finals are done - at the moment I feel the bases are a little too thick, as for the lense design, it's pretty spot on. Let us know what you all think. As per the EF/EL ones I originally had made - if enough people want them, then I can do bulk orders again, thanks.

how much will they be........might have to get some!!
IMO the AU or BA ones really dont look "right" on an EA-ED........ but they're pretty much all we've really got to work with in regards to clearies(without resorting to other brands ) |

Well I guess there is a fair bit of interest, I'll contact the manufacturer about it next week, as for bulk orders I'd like to but supply of the EF/EL ones was very slow and sporadic and limited to 10 sets per order + I couldn't get them for 'cheap' prices, the package deal for those is $70, that includes amber globes and postage. I'd assume the EB/ED ones would be cheaper as they are a little smaller but don't quote me on it - will confirm next week.
As for the protos, they're not spot on so you'd probably be happier with the revised set. Will keep u all posted. |

list so far: Rayman Sloth Muzza EBfan666 Madnc_8 I'm sure Ghial5l would want a real set... and a set for you of course. There's the first order nearly full... offload the surplus on ebay, they will sell like hotcakes.

G'day all you patient people, finally got around to fitting the EB/ED prototypes, they look pretty good but I'm not entirely happy with the quality so I'll run them for a while and let the manufacturer make the minor changes I've asked for.
This pic should keep u happy for now and give u some idea of what they''l look like. |
