Does any one know how to get the
tacho working on a bog stock 87 da ea gli. My mate has a base ea gli, we put the dash in & copied my loom to a degree & it still wont work, as s pack loom is not present. We even wired it direct from engine harrness nothing happened. The oil sender works aok as he had everything from donor car. Where do u wire in the pins (eg) negative_ coil _etc no idea on pin setup, i have tried but no idea, but put it in to my car it works-any help please.

The tacho should be connected directly to the pink wire (I forget the colour of the stripe) from the coil, wether by direct route to the coil, or through the harness.
