Hey there guys what kind of power would a ef/el wagon need to run low 14's?? (with a I6 4.0L)
How heavy would these cars weigh?? How would a wagon go with a DEV 4 or 5 engine?? Cheers

Well DEv4 + 3.9:1 + 3000rpm Stall + slicks = 15.1sec. The AU S1Wagon is lighter than an EF/L Wagon, so you're going to need some real power to run 14.0 with an auto.
I'd forget N/A and look at turbo or a Vortech kit. Actualy use a KB or Whipplecharger, 14.0 will be a Walk in the park

you have to be realistic. low 14's are going to be hard and expensive to get out of an auto six cyl 5 metre long wagon.
qtrs are all about power to weight modified by gearing. So you have started with the second heaviest model variant with the smallest engine and the worst gearing (auto with high gearing and diff ratio). With enough time and money anythings possible but I think you will find it all too hard to get into the low 14's. |
