Stopped last night and had to wait in the car for someone. Switched off main lights but there are the dash lights still on and very irritating. Take at least 3-4 minutes to switch off.
Anyone know if these can be made to switch off earlier? |

do you mean the tacho and speedo light only or the whole interior lights including?

You could lock the car with your keyfob. That usually turns everything off.

i push the door lock button to get rid of all the interior lights, but the speedo and tacho lights stay on for a few minutes

Yeah - its just the tacho, speedo and computer display that stays on. Can't think of any reason why these must stay on so long? Why don't they go out when you turn off the lights or close the door without locking it? Just seems stupid.

It's a little irritating since i leave my car in the garage, it's either lock it with the keyfob which turns everything off, but also locks it. Or just close the door and let it be...
