i love slayer. but Mastodon are going to blow them off the stage.

after i see slayer. i only have to see Anthrax (which i missed in 05) and i will have seen all of the "Big 4" of metal :sm_headba

I have heard of mastodon but never actually listened to them so i don't know what to expect on their behalf but reguardless i really just wanna see Slayer........ I invision a very sore neck come the 20th of april :sm_headba

my mate sent me a txt the other day saying "hillsong is coming back wana go ?" i was a little confused but the next day he said "slayer and mastodon"
needless to say i wet my self.

..and the tours roll on. Good times for international bands at the moment. Deicide were great recently, and Testament and Suffocation are going to kick **** in Feb.

Prob not the kind of concert i'd go to but i reckon itd be a good show. Have god hates us all kicking around on the PC and its good rock.

Better use of a subwoofer than rap!!!

I saw them last year at Reading Festival in England, was definitely a good show. The fan's left a lot to be desired though after hurling bottles at the next band on stage which I thought was bad taste.

I'll admit though, it was My Chemical Romance... Fair bump, play on.

ill be there with bells on, ive always wanted to see slayer, now there finally back in aus. God moneys going to be tight as there are so many great concerts this yr.

Had Decade of Aggression on CD. Not bad, but sort of got confused when one song stopped and another one started. Best song War Ensemble!!

You'll have two more shows to do just that, Vader confirmed for April, followed by legends Sodom in May. :sm_headba

You're right HLC, 2006 was good. Now that promoters are seeing international metal tours as viable now, more are jumping on the band wagon. Rumours persist we might also see Celtic Frost. The future looks great!

I'm SO STOKED for Sodm and Vader. those gigs are gonna rule. hopefully ill get the cash together!

Necrophagist has been rumoured along with a heap of other bands. but i am really excited at the possibility of seeing Necrophagist, cause well, they rule.

and with our dollar buyin $0.78USD, i dont blame these bands for coming down!!! Profits!!!!


2006/2007 the years that metal comes back to Australia!
