Let me try
See that page your on, where it says share at the top left hand corner, under the logo . Click that and a list of options pops open. Copy (by clicking on their icon on the RHS) from the Hotlink for forums address. Paste that into your reply (directly, it's already set up as an image) and you should get the result above. Cheers, Raptor .

OR
Your last two responses would have worked if you used the Insert Image icon (the sunset in a box) from the toolbar in the forum and paste the web address you used into the window that opens. What this is doing as adding the image tags [IMG......./IMG] around the web address for you. That also produces this outcome;

No worries, don't give up.
I'm self taught in all this stuff too This is what you are aiming for in the last example, I'll just leave the last bracket off so it displays; [IMG]https://s20.postimg.cc/92mlfcf7h/DSCN5525.jpg[/IMG ............ then add ] . Last edited by Raptor; 13-10-2017 at 12:39 PM. |

They're not stupid big at 1067 x 800 pixel.
But if you are resizing anyway I usually do mine to 800 pixels wide x whatever. . |

Anyone know why this doesn't work? Last bracket left off deliberately.

Awesome, thanks.
How did you get that link? I'm trying to do it off my phone, maybe the app won't do that?

I've just tried again from my work (Windows) PC. This still took me a few go's to find the image address - right click on image / properties /address (URL). That website you are trying to use doesn't make it easy. You can test by posting what you think is the image address into a new window and check that just an image appears. Good luck. PS. Nice Coupe [EDIT] Actually I had to run through the process twice This is the (Google Photos) page; https://photos.google.com/share/AF1Q...hBYzhHelcxTU1R right click on that image / properties / copy address takes you to this page which has the Google Photos border etc removed but is still not just the image; https://photos.google.com/share/AF1Q...hBYzhHelcxTU1R right click on that image / properties / copy address gives you just the image https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/1x...=w1264-h712-no Use the above address with the IMG tags and it works Personally I use the Forum Gallery: How to upload and use images from the AFF Gallery
