Hi Guys what diff ratio would a stock 2000 au2 auto sedan be and can the diff be locked like the old ones with a welder (race car) or do you need to buy the mini spool.

If its a standard six chances are its a single spinner 3.23 however if you like to double check get your head under the rear and look on the axle on the drivers side you should find a white sticker with the ratio on it and if there's no tag on the diff refill bolt it's probably single spinner

Cheers, was anything from that model fitted with say a 3.7 or there abouts, or earlier, Ill just use some hub adaptors as i am now on the EB. the 4.11s are too much for the tracks im running on. Next car being the Au i just pilfered the motor out of for the EB was wondering/ hoping i didnt have to change the diff, ahh well its not supposed to be easy!

nope highest they went to from factory was lsd 3.45gears however i have a lsd and 3.45 diff gears here for sale also have a set of 4.11 diff gears that would fit your diff

cheers guys, already have a 4.11 locked diff, will need to chase up a 3.73 gear set and mini spool then. Thanks
