Just took my XR6T in for service and they said there is a new "recall" TSB309, the service advisor thinks it's some computer reflash but he's not sure what it's about. I asked them not to do it because my car is running well and my philosophy is "if it aint broke, don't fix it". Plus I've heard so many stories about people getting their cars reflashed during a service and they then run like crap .

I know alot of people have been complaining about rough idle at the lights with the aircon on full speed... This problem can be resolved by removing the Throttle Body and cleaning all the carbon crap out of it. Most said a computer reflash would fix it which is incorrect, most of these flash upgrades do stuff all.

Bit of a furphy I suspect - TSB numbers for 04 were nowhere near 309.
Cheers Russ
