Fast and Furious actor Paul Walker Killed in Car Accident.

By all reports Paul a Walker, star of the Fast & Furious Franchise has died. It has been confirmed on his twitter & Facebook accounts.

It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend's car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. I am lost for words. One of my Favorite actors. And I am a fan of the series. No matter how outlandish some of the things are in the movies.

He is survived by his 15 year old daughter.

Thoughts be with his family. What shock.

Filming only started in September, so I doubt it. This will stall production quick smart. And may even be the stopping point of the franchise. Being that they would really have to rewrite the entire script I'd say.

It won't kill the franchise, but certainly gonna change it up. Wonder how Brian will be written out of it.... Jason stathams next victim maybe?

Wasn't a big fan, could never buy into him as a badass in the FF series, but its tragic. Seems like his buddy was trying to show off to a FF actor and they paid the ultimate price.

I was just thinking the same thing. It's a ironic that at the beginning or end of the movies there is that big disclaimer that "The stunts performed are not controlled conditions with a professional driver and should not be performed pn public roads" etc. And he dies in a flaming Porsche that is wrapped around tree or pole.....

Very sad indeed. He seemed or at least appeared to be a decent guy outside of his movies. I don't remember him being plastered all over the tabliods getting into trouble with the law or anything.

Interestingly on his FB page it states that he was in attendance of a charity event for his organisation 'Reach out worldwide'. He was the passenger and a friend of his was driving.

Absolutely shocked to hear this while i was in Melbourne today, after reading some US forums i frequent he was quite a charitable person and a big boost for the Car Enthusiast scene.

The driver was a current competitor in the Pirelli world challenge series (Supported the V8's in Texas this year) so no slouch, quite sickening to think it was within 24 Hours that a Hoax effectively predicted his demise.

R.I.P Paul Walker i enjoyed the F&F series growing up, aswell as a few of his other films, as Bowdens said on Facebook he will now be the current generations James Dean.
