Default Tickford XR's worth something?

Hi guys.
I went to essendon ford the other day for a trade in price on a 2008 Mitsubishi triton. I was have a chat to the man there and he told me, if he was me he wouldnt sell it because he reckons in years to come they will be worth something. I really find that hard to believe. Still selling it of course.
What are your thoughts on it?

Unfortunately unless they are a T series or an XR or Rebel with a lot of options, then no, i think you would be waiting a long time.

This has been discussed before and there is an existing thread on the subject.
