That is awesome. No doubt will pull a big figure.
Side note: Remember the fake mud in a bucket you could buy for your 4WD? SuperCheap should invent fake 'dust in a can'. Barn finds seem to be the current craze.

If that's true, that's just insane.
Don't tell me we're in another muscle car boom?

There's a couple of videos floating around. Confirmed - this one did do $111,000.
This one seems like much better value now. $87k.. 77,000KM unrestored. https://www.facebook.com/pg/muscleca...71736279690201 vs this for $111k |

My OP information was from Survivor Car and checking their website today confirmed the car sold for $111,000 and that a bidder with 4 of these cars pulled out of the bidding at $60K.

Is there anything special about the car (other than Esp 5.8 4 spd with power windows and premium sound)
The car has definitely got all the options, but wS it owned by Moffat? Engine limited edition HO? Etc I know the car was not going to be cheap (I thought 40-60k) but not 111k Is there anything I’m missing Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

111k plus what - another 50k to restore it?
I hope the new owner isn't looking for a return on investment anytime soon, but then again, who knows... |

Also keen to know if there's some history behind this car that we're unaware of. In comparison to other cars recently, this one has totally gone beyond the realms of what I thought was a realistic value. It will now possibly set a precedent for the old '51 XE's.. considering the other one I put up was $87 in original, mint condition.
