got myself a 1970 mk1 capri,..can any one tell me any where where i can get parts for these?
currently looking for a v6 cross member for starters thanks,Ken

My old man is restoring a mk1 atm and he finds most of his capri specific stuff on eBay. Picked up some steel guards a few weeks ago.

hi mate
yerr i was just about to say capri clinic ask for kevin....or small fords in sdyney ask for brain ...umm in queensland there are a few people not much but he is up northcoast sunnycoast. mate other then that always look on the uk ebay there are realy good buys some times but you just have to becarefull because they can some times send you mk2 or mk3 items .. then your stuffed cause you got the wroung part . nz trade me.com its good to lots of parts there as well , but they dont know whats paypal is there so its a bit funny work... cheers mate i hope i have helped you out in some way .. now your getting into the fun stuff .. good luck have fun |

Also Yesterford in Melbourne.....
If you are looking for a V6 cross bear in mind the V6 was three-bolts/side Vs 2bolts/side on the 4cyls.....and other structural >> strengthening << differences in the front subframe panels (it's there for a reason !!). The Essex V6 weighs about double the 1600 Kent motor. |
