Default Getting a thread locked

Is there any recourse against an individual for getting a thread locked, or removed. A thread I started in the Bar has gone??
Is someone allowed to continually derelict our conversations?
Is it possible to let the thread starter know via PM that, and why, thier thread has been closed, or deleted?

I just posted something a little cheeky in the sponsor forums (Sorry Cube) and it started me thinking.
Thank You.

What thread are you talking about?

Each user has the ability to report a thread, however I wouldn't expect an admin or moderator to send a PM based on every closure or edit to both the thread starter or the person that has caused the thread to be closed.

Normally a PM is sent determined on the nature of the issue though

Why are antagonist posts from members with high post counts so common now?

Couldn't find it, now I can? Maybe a bit of :

Still my Q stands, can someone go on getting threads screwed and locked/ deleted, or are they headed for 1,2,3, Holiday?

And if a thread is locked/ deleted, can the author be notified?

Thank You Laminge.

Ps You gone soft? No flamings or Barbie Avatars for a while? :

Maybe we can look at leaving the thread viewable if the quality was there but sometimes things just need to be removed because of its nature, IE clear breach of the Terms of the site
