Default 10,000$ phone call

The owner of a $300,000 Aston Martin that was stolen in Auckland today - and then found again - is making good on his promise of the 10,000$ reward.

Mark Hackshaw's prized car was stolen from the front of a Newmarket car yard earlier this afternoon and was later found in the Herne Bay area.

A Newstalk ZB caller phoned Danny Watson(Newstalk ZB disc jockey) to say he had found the car - albeit a little worse for wear that was sitting outside his front gate.

Mr Hackshaw had promised a $10,000 reward - and says he'll deliver the goods.

Not a bad little earner for keeping your eyes open around your neighbourhood.

What a douchebag, buys a $300k AM and doesn't insure it then leaves it sitting around with the keys in it.

Having money don't make you smart.

Id rather get the car back than rely on insurance to give me another. It might have been tuned, improved suspension, etc (yes people do that to some exotics).

But then thats me.......

Not if it isn't found they wouldn't

So you would not have insurance and offer a $10k reward in the hope of getting it back, rather than having insurance and the chance of a brand newie if it isn't found (which is highly likely).

Whatever, good luck to ya, your gonna need it
