East Coast Nationals Show and Shine

A day at the drags just wouldn’t be the same without celebrating the grass roots of the sport and where the quarter mile action evolved from – Hot Rodding.

With thanks to Shannons Insurance the Shannons Show and Shine has now become a regular fixture at Sydney Dragway events.

The transformation of the eastern mound of the venue has allowed it to become a hub of activity featuring Hot Rods, American Muscle Cars and Australian Classics. As has been seen at many Sydney Dragway events the Shannons Show and Shine was is always a major draw card for both spectators and participants.

As well as the traditional categories mentioned above Sydney Dragway and Shannons Insurance are widening the criteria to include Custom and Highly Modified vehicles and Custom Bikes, ensuring everyone has a chance to display their pride and joy.

Entry to the Show and Shine is $40 per day which covers the vehicle and its driver. Entry is via the competitor gate. All vehicles are parked on the eastern mound and must remain stationary during the course of the event. The team from Shannons will be on hand to judge the top three vehicles of the day.
