Hatch for two reasons:
I thought the boot lid on the sedan didn't give good access to the very large and deep boot. No wiper on the rear window. I had intended to buy a sedan but those two things swung me to the hatch. |

ditto... I got the hatch but would've preferred the wagon. Still, who was to know four months ago when placing the order for the hatch.

Hatch, same a katoomba, needed the big wide opening, and I personally think the hatch looks better, but thats me.

Hatch as well. Same reasons as above - easier loading.
Just be aware that the hatch opens a fair way so if you're parking in a garage or carport - make sure the roof is high enough.

Hatch, one of the main reasons i purchased the mondeo xr5 over the focus xr5 was the mega boot with mega hatch opening...

Has anyone bought a sedan?
Have heard it is quite a bit tighter in the body, and lower noise levels inside. Hatch area lets in road noise. |

Only issue I've had is that the hatch has almost hit a few ceilings as does open up a long way. |

I like both sedan and hatch, but prefer the sedan.
Going to go and look at both a sedan and hatch today Is the hatch smaller on the inside at all? Thanks. |

But the hatch is bigger than the sedan when you lay down the rear seats. |

Hatch.
Wouldn't have bought anything else. My old KF Laser was a hatch and it was awesome being able to load anything and everything with ease.
