Default Hotdog sauce, tomato vs BBQ Poll

BBQ sauce on a hotdog is just wrong. In my opinion those that have bbq sauce on their hotdogs have some sort of chemical imablance going on and their needs to be a pill on the market to cure them. But thats just me.

So Im putting it to the Ford Forums test.

What do you have on your hotdog? Bbq sauce or the proper tomato sauce. There is an option for no sauce as well for those people with real problems.

What's with the whole poll uprising?

Besides, a true Ford fan puts 20W50 on their hot dog.

I find Transmax Z has a bit more flavour than 20W50

The poll should have an option for 'other'. The thing is, what constitutes a Hot Dog anyway? In my opinion the only common denominators in a hot dog are the long roll and some/any/varied form of sausage. From that departure point, the world is your oyster! Personally I like a knackwurst sausage with fried onions, grated cheese, a mixture of barbecue and chilli sauce, maybe, but not always some sort of mustard, and, of paramount importance, a Heineken to wash it all down. Now how can I indicate all that in a poll?

ok, to simplify the hotdog concept.

As far as this poll goes, a hotdog is a long roll with a frankfurt in it. Or two cocktail franks.

yes what you talking about would be a "gormet sausage" part of the hot dog family but not essentialy a hot dog

I like having BBQ sauce, on my Hotdog. _2:

Tomato sauce, just seems weird, on a Hotdog. IMO

What an odd poll to have on a car forum, makes ziggee's seem almost normal.

Precisely the reason its in the bar!

I know 2 people who religeously put BBQ on their hot dog. I am at a loss to reason with them. Was wondering what a good slice of people would say one way or the other.

Well, I'm not so sure. Enthusiasm about cars and junk food are pretty closely related in my view. When we have a day tinkering with the cars, its usually the day when quick fuss-free sustenance is needed in between tasks. So its usually off to Hungry Jack's, Macca's or a Hot Dog joint. The trip there and back is an opportunity to check out that timing adjustment or bed in the new brake pads.

I like American Mustard, BBQ and Tomato sauce.
I also like to endow my dog with cheese and other extras if i can.
Where is the option for that?

I still say it's odd.

thanks I think ;), or perhaps I should not think... not sure!!

i voted tomato.... as that is the Aussie thing to do!!

l0l : about the wd40 comment... funny stuff

see polls are great, it opens you mind to other possibilities... just because its a ford forum personally I don't think you should have just one topic of communication. besides, these same poll naysayers, would soon enough bag you for not knowing enough about fords to put you off posting.

If they can't bag you on polls, they'll bag you for the lack of knowledge on fords! can't win... ;) besides it light hearted, and if DONE in context and with limits (MR L) then what harm is there. just my ill informed 2c worth!

How about the weirdest combo, I LOVE ham and chicken /salad rolls... every time I order one people look at me strangely!! go figure.... sorry OT, this is about hot dogs, not salad rolls!!
