Default 9 second BOSS....getting closer

Howdy People.....

As most of you would have heard by now, the Bluepower delivery ute ran a blistering 10.05 at Calder Park last friday night.

Awfully close to a 9, Friday morning driving the Black beast was a classic went to pick up a prescription for mum, did the banking, delivered a transmission....

Got back, threw the NOS bottle in, pipes off, slicks on and it was GO time!!

The car is having its rear axle ratio changed this week to make it more appropriate for some top end speed, the car is rubbing the RPM limiter with the existing gears.

The car is spinning the tyres pretty hard through the top end of 1st and 2nd gear, hopefully the taller gears will give us some more legs here, and push up the MPH to the magical 140mph mark.

We will be making best efforts to produce the car this Friday night. I wont be touching the tune, just a repeat of last week with some kinder gearing.

One thing for sure, if we can run 6.3's to the half, we could be in for a good evening.

If you guys are thinking about heading out on Friday, please come over and say hi, check out this stunning new BPR supercharger system - there really isn't any other kit as well made or HP capable as this little baby - try driving it!!

Also, hoping to hook up some incar footage.

See you guys out there,

Chris

looking forward to the incar footage . what diff ratio are you going to ?? i guess for the massive torque and power . 4.11 is too easy. so 3.73 or 3.45 ????

We have 3.7 ATM, going 3.46.

I have a 12psi blower tune or 9psi and i can dial gas in or out, so if the track is on kill, 12psi with no gas will be the best on a 26" tyre, gas likes a taller tyre on the hit.

Chris

Good to see you are chaching that nine with the blown setup, before you continue with the N/A development. Hopefully it won't be long till you get it.

Your not wrong Ben, your not wrong at all.......

I am amazed that the record has hung around as long as it has - obviously a testament to HPF and their crew that they got it all together. :
