Default KB pricing i/cooled

Hi guys,

i'm looking into the idea of putting a Kennebell on my ute, it's a ba mk2 6 speed manual, 4-1pacies, custom twin 2.5in mandrel bent exhaust with ballistic cats and hooker mufflers, larger throttle body, cold air( unfortunately not yours!!) and flash tuned. I'm looking to have something done hopefully by the end of the year, just wanting to find out some pricing and what sort of safe power i'm able to get out the 260 or the maximum!!.I'd also like to hear your thoughts on what type of clutche i should use as my stocker struggles a bit at times now with 243rwkw. By the way i had it tuned last week by Kent at Hitorque and he was great to deal with thanks. I'll probably already have a fuel pump done before i do the KB, i'm currently in the process of a custom tool box underneath my tray so that i can mount the pumps and the battery in there out of the way. Any help would be great guys you can PM the pricing if you'd rather.

thanks scott

Hi Scott,

Currently, a drive in drive out price on a fully intercooled KB Kit is around $16-16.5 K

With this, you get

BPR KenneBell Intercooled stage 1 kit
2 bar MAP
High flow injectors
Installation and tuning.

Fuel system and surge tank are extra, and all prices are influenced by the dollar.

The kit price alone is $12,500 - its a one day install, but i recommend all BPR dealers spend at least 3 days in total on the car, which gives time for cold starting and road testing, and not rushing a car out the door.

This kit is GUARANTEED to provide more power than any other kit available in the marketplace per pound of boost.

You can run it "soft" and make 330-350, and you will get a great run out of the motor. At 400rwkw, we have had 260's last longer than 290's, due to the lack of comression.

They will make 370-390 on an auto at 10psi, and 390-410 with a manual.

I hope this helps, drop me a line if you need further info.

Chris

Hi Chris, the kit price of 12500 does that include airbox & intake pipe? do you send kits out for customers to install themselves?

thanks Wil

Hi Wil,

No, the kit does not come with the airbox. The reason for this is many people already have them, so to include them in with any kind of pricing would be inefficient and somewhat misleading.

Most cars that do not have a BPR box, or injectors or 2 bar or fuel system (ie those that have never been s/charged) will find themselves paying around the 16.5 mark.

If you are upgrading from a Vortech or simillar, and have already in your possesion a fuel system, 2 bar, injectors AND maybe even a BPR box from BEFORE the vortech, you will find the $$$ saved and products useable on the Kenny.

Generally the cheapest drive in drive out is around 14, maxing at around 16.5, with BPR currently valuing the dollar at 75c.

This may sound confusing, but if you guys would like to know how much a KB will cost in your application, please feel free to call.

Chris
