Default price paid for fiesta WT's

looking at a new fiesta WT CL 5sp
and as you do you try and get the best price possible

so far i have $15800 for a 2012 build CL with matts, prem plates and a tank of fuel
and $16300 with all the above and safety pack.
have to wait for both as none in stock too

anything else i should try and get with the deal? or do you think they can do better.

1 dealer is trying to get me to buy an LX as its in stock but for the extra $2.5k i'll never use the rear power windows, the mags are ordinary and cruise control is not required on a manual 4cyl.

It's not bad a price, I reckon. The safety pack is worth it, I think, because it'll get you up to 5 star safety.

Oh, and make them put a tank of 98 in...

I just bought 3 Autos for $17,800 with mats, full tank of fuel and prestige plates in NSW.

So $15,800 sounds about right for a manual. I got 3 black ones no problems, all 2012 plate.

That's a steal!

LX does have a lot of good value with Bluetooth Cruise control and alloy wheels but at the end of the day it really depends on if you're going to want/need it.

cl has bluetooth too, and those mags are ugly and in a 4cyl manual cruise is not really needed if you have to change to 4th on hills. but the extra airbags and rear power windows are good but not for $18k

Yeah the extra $2k for the LX wasn't worth it for me. I have done 100 kms in it since picking it up last night and l love it so far. This is our second car with our main car a year old CX7, so a much smaller and less expensive car in the Fiesta is awesome kit for the money.

Yup, all WT's come with the safety pack now, with the "tyre" (one of the very tiny space savers) being at a premium. Some of the guys on here will occasionally have their old steel wheels from their Fiestas for sale if they upgrade to alloys or something, which may be a better option. That or looking at wreckers yards perhaps? Only issue may be that the full sized spare may stick up above the wheel well (and makes the boot uneven), but think a couple of people on here have fixed that with plyboard or similar.

I put a full sized spare wheel in the back and yea it does sit a bit higher than what the boot was designed for, but it's so small, you hardly notice, no mods needed, just chuck the boot mat on top of the spare wheel and you're good.

I believe the Ford spares price for a steel rim is under $200 (it should be 100 flat imho) so I don't know why they charge $500 for a rim and tyre. Might be worth asking a Mazda dealer what they charge for a steel rim on the Mazda 2 (should be identical but probably priced cheaper)

Today I picked up a 2012 CL auto with tint for $18200. Black seems to be easy to get. as I had 3 dealers trying to sell me black cars. I wanted black anyway.
