I have accured way to many stones chips on the front of my car to bare with it anylonger.. So I have decided to re-spray the front end and bonnet.. Also need to fix up some holes in the nose where number plate was stuck on.. Moved interstate and the plates were smaller. While Im there Im going to touch up all the marks and chips and get it back to a smooth Galaxy Blue..
Next step is where I need a hand.. What you think about? Putting a subtle pearl going over the base coat? House of Kolor do a paint like that, I have attached a pic to illustrate. The paint went over the top of the Mercury Silver. Or the other is called Crystal Rainbow and puts subtle metallic flakes over and slighly pearls on different angles. Advantage to both of these paint jobs is that they go over your existing coat so no need to re-spray engine bay, inside doors that sort of stuff. Touch up work is relatively easy, when compared with other pearls. Any thoughts?

Hey Cubey, whatever that top coat on that silver car is would look great over the galaxy blue. I say do it. Business must be booming in BB, hey?

business is going pretty good, but the best thing is my uncle is going to help out with the spray job.. so won't cost nearly as much.. Had a quote just to get the front end fixed up at $1800. For that price I can fix up the whole car and get the top coat done for bit over half,, with of course a bit of my own labour aswell.. Always keen to learn so should be fun..

Nah he used to spray his cars years back and still has his equipment lying around.. So I thought bout time he brought it out and gave it a go...
Also I think he offered to help out mainly to stop me from spending dosh on my car. Thinks I should really be buying a house.
