Default Big thumps-up to Fadi @ ASL

Hello Everyone,
It's not that common anymore in today's life to find great Service from someone, but I have to commend Fadi @ ASL.

His service is excellent, always willing to help, and this makes for one of the best experiences I've ever had dealing with any outfit.

Well done ASL, keep it up guys

Your Certainly on the ball with that comment

I have no hesitation driving out to their workshop to hand over more cash for a great product and assistance, one of the few around that go that extra step to help.

However a coffee machine and fresh donuts would top it off nicely.. hint...

I had a real good cup of coffee yesterday though

Just quickly 2 photos showing the new unit in my UTE (Thanx Fadi, and XRQTOR), looking great.

Fadi reset audio codes, I assembled, and fitted the new unit, and Etheridge Ford (Thanx Steve and Paul) load new software to the HIM to enable full functionality

Working great!

Daytime shot:

Nightime, changing lcd contrast/colors:

And then, a close-up in different control modes:

Here is a piccie showing radio volume, and fanspeed indicators, this overlay will be active whenever something is adjusted. After a couple of seconds, the main vga input will become active (foreground) again.

Here it is running in semi-auto mode, with trip-computer active:

and here, full auto climate control is active:

Other than the driver-side actuator, I need to fit new passenger-side external mirror, which houses the ambient temperature sensor, which it uses to calculate aircon-compressor speeds, to allow comparison with cabin temp sensor, and do auto climate controls.

Thanx Fadi - this completely changed the looks of the interior - what it should have looked like from the Factory.

Ford should have this as a default on all FPV vehicles! It's a must on such high-end cars :(

Fortunately we can do it ourselves, good....

MrBean, So did the unit work as a single zone acc without the Drivers side airmix shaft actuator. Im upgrading from MCC to ACC but dont want to fit the actuator just yet, too expensive and looks to be a big job.
Also is the a clock on the ACC icc screens ?

Andy

Just wanted to express my thanks in this thread regarding my 6 stacker that was repaired at ASL this week.

Same day turn-around and quality of work is second to none.

Cheers Fadi & guys, btw the girl that answered the door goes in the 'rare' basket for a tall female, lol.

Hey Andy,
You can use the setup without the airmix actuator splitter shaft and extra actuator, it will work just fine, with the passenger side unit controlling adjustments.

You don't even need the passenger mirror with temp sensor until you're ready to fit it!

What you will need though is for Ford Technician to download the high-end HIM program into the HIM, as the software is different to drive MCC or ACC.

Hope this helps you, if you still have questions, np, just PM me ;)

Best regards,
MrBean
