Hi,
Recently purchased an AUII Falcon, Radio works great...however when I tried to use the CD player it just started clicking and whirring..no lights are on anywhere. It does this everytime I start the car...makes the noises in 6 times, as if it's trying to change the CD. Would you have any idea what the problem may be? Thanks! |

Disconnect the battery, reconnect, it should correct itself. Good luck with it!

Thanks for that...it worked a treat!
Tried using CD player again and the same thing happened...do you know what the problem might be as to why it keeps doing it. I don't want to replace it with an aftermarket player. Thanks! |

When mine did it I used one of those CD cleaners and then it came good again. I think as long as you are gentle with it, press the load button, don't change through CDs often, there's no reason it won't last. If it does eventually pack it up, ASL sell reconditioned units.
