got a 93 telstar 6cylender auto. When im driving along the motor will stop randomly and the hold light comes on. When ive pulled over the car will restart and be ok. Ive replaced the fuel filter/ air filter. not long ago did the coil and am at my whits end . Anybody got any idea why ? Thanks Rob

only a guess the 02 sensor in the manifold ot a clogged catalytic converter
you might like to have the trottle position sensor looked at or the air flow meter in the air filter need replacing / electrical sensor fault can yo do a diagnositc on the engine ? doesnt sound like a fuel problem because it starts and runs again

if the hold light is comming on my guess would be a stuffed stall convertor in the gearbox, hence why it stops but then takes off ok later.
try the dignostics but otherwise it might be time to visit a mechanic. |
